I'm posting twice in one day, what is wrong with me????

The first picture is Sissy's blanket. I crocheted her blanket using Lion Brand Homespun in five different bright colors, I love the way it turned out, what do you think? I think she will love it when she opens it up on Christmas morning :). Kit's blanket is the second picture, I also used Homespun for that one too. The picture doesn't do it justice, it looks a lot better in person, but I still wanted to share it with you all. I haven't finished the little bit I have left on Biffy's blanket, just because I wanted to get everything else done before Christmas. If I don't get it done it won't be that big of a deal, she is getting a quilt for Christmas, so she will still open up a blankie. On Sissy's blanket, I didn't do anything with the ends yet because daddy said it looked cool the way it was, so I will ask her when she opens it and if she wants them gone, I will get rid of them, and if she likes them then I will do actual fringe on it for her :). So it's getting closer and closer to Christmas and the girls are excited and so am I, I can't wait until they open up their blankets that they have been waiting so long for!! Ok, so the last picture is a purse I am making for my niece, it's a little plain, at least for now. The Bernat Boa yarn that is next to it is going to go around the top of the purse and i was even thinking about using it in the strap as well, we'll see what happens lol. Oh, and like the washcloths, the blankets were not blocked yet, I can't really block them until after the girls get them, I can't let them see them while they are drying lol. So they will be all touched up after all is said and done.

Good afternoon!! I have pictures to post today YAY!! lol. Here is a picture of lil' biffer's washcloth, it is a teddy bear :). Now none of the stuff i took pictures of have been blocked, so keep that in mind lol.




This next picture is Sissy Mae's washcloth. Now these pictures didn't turn out perfect but they are good enough. Oh, and remember I said that these projects have not been blocked, so don't forget that while looking at the pictures hahaha.




I did all three of the washcloths in purple just for the simple fact that there wouldn't be any fighting over who got what color. So I did all in the same color. For Kit and Sissy Mae I bought a bath/shower set, with some soap and shower gel and some lotion and I think a couple more things, I don't remember lol, but that stuff came in a little tote bag, so I'm going to slip their washcloths in front of the little tote :). I was going to fill baskets with a bunch of bath and shower goodies, but decided to go the easier route, plus with not doing baskets full of little goodies, it gives me more ideas for what to put in their stockings :). Speaking of stockings, I have these really cute stockings for the girls that my mom gave me, each stocking holds a picture, they are just too cute. If I can squeeze a little battery life out of my camera I will snap a picture of those too lol. Ok, well the kids are calling me, so I'm going to post this and in just a bit I will post a picture of Sissy's blanket and one of Kit's blanket.

Ok so, I finally found my cd for my camera but I only had this one picture on the camera. I will take more pictures of the things I have done when the girls are sleeping lol. so this is a unicorn cloth that I knitted for Kristin for Christmas. I promise to take pictures at least of the blankets and the other two cloths I made for the girls tonight. So just a short little note here, until I get more pics up and have more to say lol.

starting a blog

Hello to all who have ventured to my blog! My name is Becca and I live in Wisconsin. I have been crocheting for about four years and I learned how to knit about nine months or so ago, give or take, when my soon to be sister-in-law taught me :). So that was just a little bit about myself but I thought I would take a stab at an actual blog to talk about my knitting projects and other things. We'll see how this goes. I don't have any pictures to add as of yet, but will get some up as soon as I find my cd for my camera.....lol. Here is a list of the things I have finished for Christmas gifts and what I am working on for Christmas gifts: a blanket for my daughter Alyssa, a blanket for my daughter Kristin, and a blanket for my daughter Elizabeth. A washcloth for each of the girls one is a heart, another is a unicorn, and the other one is a teddy bear. Two dishcloths for my mom, the state of Minnesota I am doing in a yellowish/gold color and a football helmet in purple, yes she is a Minnesota Vikings fan lol. A washcloth for my nephew. Two purses for my nieces. And a purse for Kristin. So there ya have it, I have been and will be very busy lol. I guess this will be all for now, until I get pics up here of my projects.
